Prior to joining UF Health Heart and Vascular Surgery at Halifax Health, Dr. Feezor practiced at UF Health in Gainesville for eight years. During this time, he served as program director for the vascular fellowship program, as well as director for the UF Health Comprehensive Vein Center. He was awarded the national Resident Award for Exemplary Teaching by the American College of Surgeons in 2005, the Hugh M. Hill Award for outstanding resident teacher in the College of Medicine in both 2005 and 2006, and the Department’s Outstanding Faculty Award in 2010. Dr. Feezor’s clinical interests include open surgical and endovascular treatment of aortic diseases, peripheral and visceral occlusive disease, and dialysis access creation and maintenance. For Dr. Feezor, the most important part of treating his patients is an understanding with the patient and his or her family regarding the patient’s wishes, which he believes is paramount to quality patient care.
